This position is responsible for adequately stocking store shelves and providing great customer service by assisting our customers with their shopping needs.
May also be responsible for new product displays.
Prices new items and ensures that price changes are carried out appropriately.
Essential Functions:
The Stock Clerk position is responsible for:
Participating in maintaining a well-stocked store by stocking products from the stockroom to the sales floor as needed.
Assists customers in finding requested grocery or other items or with questions regarding pricing.
Handles all grocery products in a safe, sanitary manner.
Maintains cleanliness and neatness.
Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.
Participating in maintaining a well-stocked store by stocking products from the stockroom to the sales floor as needed.
Participating in keeping the store clean by mopping floors, dusting shelves and fixtures, cleaning windows/doors, cleaning restrooms, etc.
as assigned on the Daily Job Assignment Sheet.
Promptly report any concerns to the Store Manager concerning customer concerns, store operations, inventory discrepancies, etc.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum:
High school diploma or its equivalent Preferred:
Prefer 1 plus years of general work experience.
Previous experience in a convenience store or similar type retail environment.
Required:
Must be at least 18 years old Have Open Availability Able to Work Weekends & Holidays Job Type:
