Grow Public Schools Grow Public Schools Shafter, CA Shafter, CA Full-time Full-time $24 - $26 an hour $24 - $26 an hour 4 days ago 4 days ago 4 days ago Assistant Afterschool Program Site Lead Full-time - Hourly, year-round Grow Academy Along with the Afterschool Program Site Lead, the Assistant Site Lead administers all aspects of the afterschool program to ensure that there is a quality extended day learning environment and is the primary contact for parents during the after school (ASES) program hours.

Afterschool Program Site Lead Job Duties:
Oversee day to day activities in the afterschool program (Attendance, discipline, parent concerns) In collaboration with the Afterschool Program Site Lead, supervises staff and support implementation of instruction (afterschool activities) Daily interaction with parents, students and staff.
Answering questions, ensuring timely and professional communication Meet regularly with the Afterschool Program Site Leader to ensure quality programming and scholar safety Coordinate with the Afterschool Program Site Leader and Accounting Clerk to secure supplies for after school lessons Ensure appropriate coverage of staff absences, including responding to time off requests, calling substitutes, and preparing substitute for duties Collect and Input Daily Attendance and ensure accurate enrollment documentation.
Record Keeping (Early Pickups, Health Room Visits, Student Discipline, etc.
) Assist the nurse by following safety procedures to keep all students safe.
Support the school administrative team as needed with confidential and time-sensitive tasks.
Assist with other office duties as needed.
Required
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities Bilingual in Spanish Computer Literacy (Word, Excel, Basic use of Student database) Education and
Experience:
High school Diploma Two years of school/afterschool experience preferred Bachelor's Degree preferred Knowledge of different educational software a plus Experience working with ELL students a plus Salary:
Grow Public Schools offers competitive compensation based on background and experience.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
